i find it interesting how someone can askthe smae exact question, in jsut as decient of way and get flamed to hell and banned because of it. i thin that you should be more specific with your questions, not just spout off a bunch of certs and say its my computer. quite frankly i dont trust anyone who does that. just MHO, no negs given or anything.... jsut an opinion

jiffy> I'm not saying I disbelieve you, but I find your question a bit odd. You're saying that in the past year you have gone from asking questions like "what are dll files" and "What's the differnce between IDE and SCSI?" to your A+, Network+, and MCSE, and yet, as s0nIc said, you don't know basic security things that are covered in those certs?

I don't want to discourage the asking of legitimate questions, but something doesn't smell right. At any rate, you haven't provided us with any useful information, such as the OS you are interested in. If you want good answers, you need to ask specific questions.
Do what you want with the girl, but leave me alone!

You can try to use a "remote control program" an then understand the data transfer.
I prefer Cool remote control thats free to try.
the firewall from Xp is a verry bad one, and he blocks things that you not whant to be block.

i prefer ZoneAlarm from ZoneLabs. and maybe you can protect your Router!!!
Windows is just as chees, everywhere you look you see holes.

Try the following URL, csrc.nist.gov/publications/drafts/security-testing.pdf, it makes for some good reading.

Like Dark Raider, said read about exploits and study about your OS;-)

But I would add if you going to hack your own network to study Network+ it could aid U alot.

If U are using Windows study the registry and hack it winguides.com if your running windows as your OS.

study, read, and study some more.
