    Shadow/Netranger

    How many of guys/gals use Shadow/Netranger? Also how do you like it?

    Hmm, never used either, but....

    Snort is somewhat a result of the shadow project(if I remember correctly from Stephen Northcutt's book Network Intrusion detection) and some of the same team, I love snort.

    I use it at work and was just curious if anyone else has used it and wanted to hear their
    thoughts on it. I use snort very little actually. To be honest I am having probs getting the
    thing working as an IDS! Most embarassing :-)
