    Microsoft's MSN8 slights AOL

Here is something interesting ... look at the way microsoft is practically encouraging users to dump AOL.
    LOL

"Easy switching tools that can move your e-mail, contacts, and favorites to your new MSN account in a snap, and can even help you cancel your AOL account"

and other ISPs: they list the cancellation numbers here:

    lol, its really not suprising....

this is the sort of thing you learn to expect from M$, but i wonder how easy it is to switch from an msn account to another provider? (done in a snap? i doubt it!)

I still think it interesting that m$ choose a bug for their logo.

M$ would be well advised to improve MSN8 rather than bashing AOL.
I have used both MSN 2.6 and MSN 8. If I were allowed to choose between
2.6 and 8.0, my instant choice would be ver 2.6.

In versions 7.0 and 8.0. the folks at M$ seem to fallen in love with web-based mail and .NET Passport.
