    Linux - ISDN RH8

I have a usb isdn terminal adapter that is based on the st5481 chipset. I wondered if anyone could help me set this up in Red Hat 8. I had it working in suse but that was just a case of selecting the st5481 driver. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks.

The driver for that ISDN USB device should be available in RH as hisax st5481.o. it registers with the hisax.o module

There are some problems with that device, there is a patch

Kernel with fixed bug: Linux 2.4.20-pre2-ac4
that fix has become mainstream now

Thank you. It looks like it's time to build a new kernel
