    hatebreed2000 i have had the same same problem with my current proxy which is korean based, thus giving me googles korean page when i try to connect to www.google.com!
    Try www.google.co.uk which should be ok!

    Yup reboot is right..

    The reason google does this is the internationalization support for google changes the settings to the language of your domain block..

    the proxy is in germany, hence german google..

    more servers seem to do this..


    for google other options are: hitting the Google.com [English] link wich leads to http://www.google.com/en
    or selecting Sprach-Tools (Language tools) and selecting english...
