    Disabled Virus Sigs

I am always interested in testing my anti-virus protection, so when I do a network wide test, I e-mail disabled virus/loggers to test addresses where I can see if they have been detected. My question is, does anyone know where I can find disabled virus sigs that I can use for this purpose? I am interested in broadening the scope of my testing.

There is a test string called Eicar, which is widely used for this purpose. You can find information and a download HERE

Thanks for replying. Not sure if this fits this topic but here goes, are there any spyware test programs similar to Eicar?

the best thing for spyware on your hard drive that i know of is ad-aware. google for it and it will come up. if not try downloads.com. i dont think there is such thing for email.
