Not that I know of. The only way would be to assign a positive antipoint to neutralize I guess :-\

There is no way of reversing an antipoint assignment, positive or negative, and unfortunatly you cannot assign to the same person until you have assigned another 10 assisgnments!

Just PM the person and let them know of the mistake you have made, im sure they wont hold it against you.

ps The assignment you gave shouldnt do too much damage anyways!

I might suggest sending the unfortunate recipient a PM and apologize for the mistake and assure him/her that you will negate it with a positive asap. Just MHO...

Not everyone would have admitted this, you are commendable, good luck friend.

Thx for the feedback everyone. Yes, i will send a pm with my apologies and a weak attempt justifying my immense stupidity. I hope he dont think that his neg was a common greet on AO (it was a roll call newbie)

    (edit)

    uhm, now im confused......

The weird thing is, when i look at my antipoint center, i see that some peeps give me grey ones (no effect), so i viewed a thread in roll call, and assigned a post (nor aprove, nor disaprove) with a welcome txt for a newbie. I then went to my antipoint center to look at the one i assigned (hoping to find a grey on in there), but it was RED After i went back to the thread, and saw that it was positive. Now im confused.

He will soon forget the assignment, I don't think it will scar him permanently.

<edit> now you are confusing me...LOL maybe some unknown reader of this thread fixed your mistake as a favor to you and the unfortunate newbie. This would explain your confusion...

PS. It was not me, I just deduced this as a possibility... Thought I would clear that up.</edit>

You assigned a negative antipoint which shows as red, then someone prolly came acroos that thread, realised that the negative antipoint was unjustified, so assigned a positive antipoint to balance the antipoint status of the thread out!

Hope that has cleared things up a little for you!

    Cheers
