Hello r3b,
Firstly, im using Windows 2000.
Secondly, that solution of yours just gives a shortcut to Windows explorer on the desktop.
I want the .ico file, the icon file.
Thanks

What operating system are you using ?
On windows 2000, its:-
c:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE"

No no, Dr. Evil
Come on guys, you thought i was so dumb ?
I need the .ico file.
Edit : For example, i searched for the .ico files
Then i thought it might be hidden, so i said "view all files" and searched, but without
success. Wonder where Mr. Gates has it hidden ?

My apologies invader, i misunderstood you!
Start>Settings>Folder Options>File Types>Add New File Type...... this will give you the windows explorer icon to use for different file types!
Hope this helps, if not my apologies once again!
Cheers

Okay, thanks once again.
But i need the icon, because i'm making an AutoRun CD, for which im following this method :
Create a text file named 'autorun.inf' and insert the following into it.
---
[autorun]
open=theprogramyouwanttorun.EXE
Icon=theprogramicon.ico
Name=theprogramname
---
I think as long as a file burned into a cdrom has a file called 'autorun.inf', that file calls the commands to run for an autoplay cdrom drive.
Well, so i need the .ico file.
I hope you understand.
Thanks again.

http://download.com/3000-2195-7538175.html?tag=lst-0-20
which doesnt open for me still.
