Sufficent Turitoals
I have been looking around for good turitoals but I cant find many that are from 2000-2003. Most of the older ones are outdated and I cant test them. If anyone has any good sites for newer turitoals on Security/Hacking realted post here or e-mail me. Any help would be appricated.

I know you all...[/gloworange]

I wrote one but didn't put it into the tutorials forum because I was just looking for feedback/corrections, it wasn't the final "publication". Once I finish tweaking it I'll be posting it in the tutorials forum. It's pretty basic stuff.
What type of information are you looking for specificaly?

I think the Tutorial forum is already a good place to start.
And, if you don't find anything which interest you in it, Google is still here.

Why don'y you search with google? I found a lot of security web pages that have tutorials on them. Try also looking the links sections on the pages you found.

Im looking for stuff just generally related to Security/Hacking maybe some on Telnet. Just anything. I am looking mostly for newer 2002-2003 turitoals. I have found turitoals and I have looked in the forum on this site but most were outdated. Ill check again.

Try to get your hands on the RFC's (Request For Comment) for protocols like Telnet , POP3,SMTP, FTP... That should give you a good start. I don't know the address but "RFC" with google should do it.

Oh boy.... it would have been a heck of alot cooler if you'd just ask some of the questions you might have but instead you came here to complain about how you are lost in a large area known as cyber-space.
I don't mind when peaple come here with simple questions but not when its on how to browse for things online. If useing a search engine is to hard for you to figuer out then might I suggest reading a book atleast once in your life. You know what a book is right?

I am new here I know, but why does it matter how new the tutorials are? Reading ANYTHING will help you in the long run. So what if the tutorials seem outdated, they can still help you along. Gosh, if you are having problems with something, why not ask like |The|Specialist said. Everyone around here, from the posts I read seem like they are more than happy to answer your questions, and if all else fails Google for it. If you don't know how to search there are some great Tutorials on this site about how to use search engines! Open your eyes and mind, learn! I suggest reading this before you do anything else:

I hope I have been of some help.
