    strange Win problem

    at the last few days, when i type an address (eg. http://messenger.msn.com) it just "drives" me at http://localhost/ and dispays the page of IIS!!
    i thought that this was a problem of Mozilla and i changed my browser, i user NetScape and IE and the same problem appeared!
    this happens with many MS links and with www.flashfxp.com
    any ideas, cause its driving me crazy!

    You could be using your localhost loopback address as a proxy.
    Cant remember how to check in mozilla cos but in IE in the browser click tools > internet options > connections > lan settings > untick use a proxy server

    This could be the cause of the problem, just a thought!
