    Have a linux website?

Does anybody own/run a website based on linux stuff? Im in the process of learning and I am looking for an alternative to these forums and the more commercial based sites. Im looking for some tutorials to really help me learn linux inside and out. Im reading quite a few books, but the idea of a website ran by one of the very smart members of this board is quite alluring. I hope this isnt too much of a newbie question or a question that is asked way too much. Please let me know.
im not living, im just killing time.

It is I'll give you sites anyway...

    Download distros and/or software:
    www.linuxiso.org www.linuxberg.com http://www.gnu.org/directory/ http://freshmeat.net/

    Docs:
    www.tldp.org www.linux.com

    About GNU:
www.gnu.org <--gives you insight on what free software is

That alone should keep you busy for weeks and weeks. Also, I suggest you try www.google.com if these links are not enough. I wish you the best of luck in learning your new Operating System.

    cheers

I was a sysop at a webhosting company for 2 years. We ran redhat linux with an apache webserver. What type of linux are you running? Does your distro come with the RPM's for an apache server or do you have to compile it yourself?

    Hi KidAdmin...

Im looking for some tutorials to really help me learn linux inside and out.
Have you checked the antionline forums? The tutorials it has is truly an amazing collection. To be honest, i have not seen such a vast and informative collection on tutorials on any commercial site out there. If all that you want it to increase your bookmarks on websites, then use google. Otherwise for information and learning, theres no better place than antionline.

http://www.antionline.com/showthread...hreadid=133897 has a very good list of the best tutorials on antionline. Show me another site which include these goodies.

Well, considering the fact that its us who help to keep this site the best site out there, what better solution would you want than www.antionline.com We have everything here, tutorials, downloads, security discussions, so many other threads on almost every subject.

If thats still not enough for you, then check out :

Please do not get me wrong, i understood what you meant and wanted here. I dont run a website providing information on the topic "linux". All the information on that topic, i try to provide on here. What i have provided here for you is just a great source of information to learn.

    Cheers.
