Slackware webserver.
I yust installed slackware on my laptop (with no X/windows-thingy ofc),
and Im going to use it for hosting game- and web-servers in my class-room.
The ssh and the counter-strike server is working perfectly atm,
but I was wondering if you had any tips how I should do with the webserver.
I think I will use apache and I want the server to support all types cgi and php etc.
Anyone out there now any good guides on the net for installing/administrating
a "good" webserver?
Love and Peace

slackware packs apache, the folders are semi-standard..
the configuration is located in /etc/apache/httpd.conf
the webfiles are in /var/www
there you'll find htdocs, images and cgi-bin
also users can have a www folder in their /home/name folder..
for the guides... search the forum and look @ http://httpd.apache.org/
