Don't seem to understand what the problem is!! Just uninstall the last version (2002) and reinstall the latest version. BTW I had no problems to upgrade my System Works.
Cheers

I'm not quite sure what the problem is either but I'll take you through a quick step by step:
1) Try unistalling using add/remove for nsw2002 in control panel
2) Remove 'Live Update' and 'Live Reg' also
3) If you can not successfully remove them use the SymClean utility from nortons webpage
Directions for use of symclean at Directions
Download symclean at Download
4) Restart your computer after using the symclean utility to remove any nsw components
5) Do all windows updates
6) Install NSW 2003
Hope this helps enjoy

I have performed this procedure many times on many different machines and never had a problem.
What OS are you using?
Was your last copy of SystemWorks completely up to date, and you are sure there is no way you may have had a virus?
SystemWorks will not install if your machine has a virus.
