    vb help

i need your help to help me think of the best way to complete this program. the program is a "kindergarden" program in which pics of 6 animals are displayed and the words of the 6 animals are displayed below. There are also 3 buttons: exit, score(msgbox(score)), and next(frmNext.show). I have tried ole drapdrop methods but i havent been able to get that to work. any ideas to help me?

Well what do you want the program to do? It sounds pretty easy but give me some more info on what you would like it to do and Ill help or write it for you if you want.

ok...the person who runs the program should be able to click one of the words and match it with a picture, if they get the word-picture combo right they get one point added to score. Now, im trying to use oledrapanddrop so the user can drap the name of the animal onto(or under or something) the picture of the animal. since im planning on using olddrapanddrop i dont know if i should use a label, picture, etc. does this give you enough info?

also, itd be nice to know how to keep the score from one form to another, ie. on form1 i get a score of 5 and on form2 i get a score of 6...i want to know how i can add them up for a final score so like 11 out of 12 correct

thespecialist....this is supposed to be a kindergarden game so i wouldnt want them to type in the answer of the animal(if thats what you mean), id rather have drap and drop or click....thanks though

    dear

do you use database in your programm ? and tell me what the database is ? it will more easy if you try to use sql-server ( 7 or 2000 ) becoz it is quiet simple and easy to modify. what do you really want your programm works for ? is it just input - output , or input - progress - output ? pls tell .. it could be more helpfull if you show me the OLDE DrapDROP and your DAO .. perhaps i can try it in my comp and will find out .

    Ok...

Ok...Thats should be enough. I will try to have the code ready for you tomorrow, is that okay? If not I can try to explain it here. You should just be able to do ondrag and ondrop event procedures. To carry scores from one form to another you need to put the varible the scores are stored in on a module. Declare them like
Public Score1 as integer, Score2 as integer
And then the values can be accessed and changed from anywhere on the form. To add a module click Project and choose Add Module (not class module)

    umm...sure

and you can enable Automatic dragging by setting the dragmode of an object = 1. And if you want something to happen when something is dropped on another thing. Use the OnDrop event procedure for the object that is getting dropped on. Try this link if you need mroe help its not exactly what your looking for but it might help. Also you can look around on the links I have in my tutorial.

    Here is that site
