When you connect to your ISP, you are potentially opening your computer to the world. There are \'naughty people\' out there who enjoy breaking into other people\'s computers. Give some thought to the security of your computer...

Looking at the timestamps and the targets, yes, this looks like someone trying to find exploits (via a scanner, virus or script). As to the question of being hacked, there isn't enough info here to say either way.

Best advice would be to grab black ice defender or something of the like.

    Hope this helps out.

This is Code Red, a worm. You are running Apache, this worm targets IIS, so don't worry everyone gets these hits at least once a day.

You have nothing to worry about. the target of the specific worm/exploit is IIS as it is obvious from the logs (it is a "famous" worm)

I went over something very similar to this ad nauseum here.

There is only one constant, one universal, it is the only real truth: causality. Action. Reaction. Cause and effect...There is no escape from it, we are forever slaves to it. Our only hope, our only peace is to understand it, to understand the 'why'. 'Why' is what separates us from them, you from me. 'Why' is the only real social power, without it you are powerless.
