W97M.Opey.AZ is a variant of W97M.Opey.A, which infects Microsoft Word documents and templates.

Also Known As: Macro.Word97.Opey.ay, W97M/Opey.AZ

Oldie but a beauty.. Information on it's varients go back to 2000 .. wow.. not to mention recent variants..

For most of the older varients anyone who gets it now deserves it.. like those who still get Hybris, or magjistr ..

All computer users should employ safe computing practices, including:

Keeping your Virus Definitions updated.
Installing Norton AntiVirus program updates, when available.
Deleting suspicious looking emails.
You may also scan your PC for threats now,

It only take a nice variation on the code and the current def's are up the creek..
