Installing NW.5.1
i run Win2k Advance and now i am interesting in Netware. .. i've just tried to install NW 5.1 and am running into a problem during the install.
It asked for the network driver for my card (Realt NC100). I downloaded the driver (NW5.1) and gave it . I get this error :
"The following driver instance failed to load and will be deleted:
c:\nwupdate\nc100.lan FRAME=Ethernet_802.2 NAME=NC100_1_E82 (The device supported by this driver may be disabled.)"
I can't continue with the install until the driver is loaded. any one can help ??

Try to find a suitable driver at Novell or the reseller of your NIC. If that not solves your problem try to change to another NIC and see if that helps. You can also find a 'Novell certified' hardware compability list (cards supported out of the box) at Novell (I did not find your card listed).

It is just easier to use a novell certified one. 3com cards are nice towork with.

If you can't find a driver then I am afraid that you have to change to another NIC to continue the installation. Intel, 3com have cards known to work well with Netware. but to be sure check the compability list at www.novell.com (atleast if you plan to buy a new nic).
