    RH8 and M$98? Dual boot help!

    Can anyone give me any insight on how to dual boot with Windows 98 and Red Hat 8? Please let me know of any links or software that I need.

    (NOTE:I Do not want to run Xp atm)

    partition your hard drive in to 2 partitions. Install win98 on the 1st partition Make SURE you do this FIRST. Install redhat on the second partition. during install you will use disk druid to create /boot ( recommended size 50-60 mb, /(whatever is left ), and swap(2-3X ram) partitions at minimum.

    Make sure during the labeling section that you remember to name the windows partition for grub.

    Just to add to what has been said here: if you do as Hogfly has suggested, upon installation of Red Hat and all the desired applications you are installing with it, when you boot your PC, you'll be given the Grub boot loader menu. From here, you can choose which OS you would like to boot to. But as Hogfly said, you have to label that Windows partition during your install because if not, when you go to boot your PC, it'll appear (according to the boot loader), that you only have the Linux partition installed.
