    Thanks for the responses,
    No i haven't noted the names of the viruses, bu thanks for the responses. I use that laptop mainly for docs transfer so i don't actually care about restoring it.
    I'll try the remote scan to see if i get anything next time.

    What are the virus's that you have? You should be able to serach Symantec's site to get more information on them.
