No...this post has nothing to do with Easter. It's time for the Spring Equinox. This was one of my father's favorite annual events because of one of the unique "side effects" caused by this celestial event and its cousin during the fall. Dad took great joy in pointing out that during these periods one can easily balance an egg on either of its "ends", a feat that is pretty much impossible to accomplish during the rest of the year. For those of you who choose to attempt this little experiment, it is much easier to accomplish if you place a paper towel under the egg. It has been my experience that you can almost feel the egg "tremble" when it falls into a perfectly balanced position. Have fun!!
