    Post Secure VNC via Stunnel

For those of you looking to secure VNC sessions to W32 boxes, this is a great article and how-to.

I have tested this and it works exactly as described.

    Hope this helps.

Perfect! I was looking for something like this just last week.

I was doing some "research" on this and I just decided to tunnel through ssh on a *nix box and VNC from there to the m$ box.

Encrypted communications on my private LAN isn't very important to me... however, it is important to me over the net.

http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/sshvnc.html is the one I followed for linux.
You can do the same thing on the m$ box too, you just have to install a SSH server for m$.

They have links on their page.

    thehorse13: Great post, as usual!
