This is to help the newbies to keep track of the threats as the AV companies Identify them.
It is not complete by any standard, more a copy of my Bookmarks..

I Hope that it is of help.

Any extra links welcome (hey I am always looking for more info, I managed to lose a link to a AV Forum that had some damd good removal info.. so when i find it again I will Post a link to it and others))

    Cheers

I also find the following sites useful:

    About.com - Antivirus
    Message Labs
    Kaspersky

    For Hoaxes:

    About.com - Antivirus Hoax Library
    McAfee Hoax Site

Removal Utility: Many vendors provide a variety of tools designed to detect and remove a specific virus or worm if you feel you are already infected. I particularly like McAfee's Stinger utility which detects and removes a number of the biggest threats all with one tool. They also update it periodically to add detection and removal of new threats. You can get the tool here:

    McAfee Stinger Utility

    Hope that helps

I wrote something in the tutorials section a while back which contains a lot off links and some explanation.
    it is posted:

I am currently working on a revision (in anticode) which will cover even more and include more links. All info is pretty much aimed at Windows for now. Perhaps the revision will include some *nix stuff, I am not sure yet.
BTW the revision is not my top priority project at the moment.

Since i first published it I have found quit a lot of new links.
I have not checked all links lately so I don't know if they all work.
