Question 0

Hmmm... so I can use the digits 1 to 5 only once. That doesn't prohibit me from using other digits Your question does implicate I have to use them once and only once though.
So I'd say it's something like 99543 x 9921 = 987566103 (product of a 5 digit and 4 digit numer with the digits 1 to 5 used only once)...
Question 1
I am a two digit number.
I am 5 times the sum of my digits.
What number am I.
00 ? Sum is 0, 5 times zero still is 0... Does that count?

Question 1
5(a + b) = 10a + b
5a + 5b = 10a + b
-5a + 4b = 0
a = 4, b = 5
-5 * 4 + 4 * 5 = 0
The number is 45.

Omen---how far apart are the pylons--or is there only one each on opposing sides of the equator? If there are only 2 pylons opposed--and using 25000 mile circumferance(changed into meters) them my guess would be 40233631.53 meters---- Doc51
