    Xfree problem in Slackware 8.1

    i have a problem in Slack 8.1 .I have a Savage 4 with 16 MB i tried all the config scripts even the old ones from slack 8.0 and still a couldn't configure it so please help me

    Have you run xf86config yet. If not run it as root and answer all the questions. And in case you didn't know, Slackware 9.0 is out.

    I had this problem use the VESA setting with your monitors horizontal and vertical refresh rates with that card. Thats how I got mine to work. hope that helps you out.
