    Frontpage Scripts

    I was just curious if this script posses any security threats
    /_vti_bin/_vti_aut/author.dll
    Its supposed to control authoring access, but im honestly not sure. any thoughts ?

    If the script is world read/write enabled it does...this decides who can use frontpage to update your website I believe. Just imagine if someone wrote their own version of your file to include them...easy web defacement.
