ok i'm just wondering why my thread doesn't show on the main site? or the main content?

Well they have done some remodeling here. If you thread is not security related then your thread will not show up on the front page. You have to click more active topics at the bottem to view yours. As intmon said in this thread:

No problem, just every time you see something like that check the new features forum. It usually has all the changes in there.
