    Question Confused (cont)

I'm sorry bout posting bout my forum troubles but this time i just haven't found the answer to this. Ive spent a couple days already on the phpbb.com support forums and docs and I'm just stumped on how to fix this problem. I got the log in and all those errors fixed they are running smooth but i jsut got a biggie i think. I have it setup that when u create a user name u can the email validation..nothing outa thr ordinary. well it gets sent and when a user clicks the link to activate their account i get the dreaded 404. its also on lycos...that could help solve the problem. thanks for puttin up wit me bout this forum http://members.lycos.co.uk/forgotnamephp in case u want to see the problem urself

There are a couple of issues with the link:

    One: Double http://

Two: Location, location, location. Remove the phpBB2 from the link sent out to users. The Path is all moofed!

    http://http://members.lycos.co.uk/forgotnamephp/phpBB2/profile.php?mode=activate&u=xx&act_key=xxxxxx

    xx's to replace my info.

Well, there should be a page that is probably called something like user_activate.php. I don't use phpBB, I create my own. Maybe in profile.php?
