    Forum's

This is my favorite site for finding info about many computer related topics, its easy, free, and full of intelligent people but sometimes there aren't any new posts to read and I don't know were to find another site thats contains close to as much info that this site has. All I'm really asking for is some good links to some sites were I can learn, I love computers but I don't think I know enough, so if you have any sites, ideas, etc. It would help tremendously

When your new, google is your pal, in my opinion, if you really wanna learn about a computer, learn Operating Systems,

    http://www.freebsd.org

    http://www.openbsd.org

    http://www.netbsd.org

    http://www.linux.org

    http://www.linuxiso.org

and we cant forget one of my favs:

    http://www.suse.com or http://www.suse.de

http://www.yahoo.com (type in operating systems and follow the links, its awesome, you can learn alot.)
Kill the lights, let the candles burn behind the pumpkins’ mischievous grins, and let the skeletons dance. For one thing is certain, The Misfits have returned and once again everyday is Halloween. The Misfits FreeBSD

you don't know how correct you are (here come the negs)

many people on AO don't fully understand that everyone wasn't born with a full working knowledge of tcp/ip, C++ programing and how to bend spoons with your mindpowers. in fact, most of the seniors and addicts on this site were once stupid newbs too. lighten up, give advice, help to teach and tutor those who aren't as experienced as you, instead of busting them for asking dumb questions. I agree with the original post that it's good to see new information, and that every available source is welcome. it's always good to find a third-party opinion that's not manufacturer biased, so all newsgroups and stuff should be accepted, not frowned upon as competition
i\'m starting to think that i\'m bound to always be the first guy on the second page of the thread.

although its pretty unrelated, *real* geeks should also check out bash.org - IRC, IRC and *more* IRC for when 'real' IRC gets too boring. (hm, 4 'IRC's in one sentance..)
