What do ya'll think about [gloworange]KaZaA[/gloworange]and [gloworange]KaZaA Lite[/gloworange] Good or Bad and why.

My opinion is that all P2P's are full of virii, and not worth the risk.

i use IRC fileservers for all my needs anyway; easy, quick and .. umm ... easy!

kazaa is ok if you want pop music , porn and risk ,thats about it

Actually I have Pc-Cillin, a very good anti virus soft ware. I have downloaded virii but Pc-cillin automatically detected them and gave me the option to erase them.So virii arn't a problem (4 me) at all.

Well,

I'm always wondering why everyone wants to use p2p-networks. You get more crap than you dld-ed in the first place.
There's just no challenge on it. I love it to search something without those p2p, and heh... I every time seem to find what I need.
After some time you know where to search and you don't even think about those crappy p2p's.

if you can't afford to buy cool software, then go GNU - and stop braking the law!
if you can't afford CD(s) then listen to the Radio...

not that i care if others do it, just my personal opinion on the subject...
i don't feel the need to rip people off, they worked hard on that data you're downloading... and getting absolutley nothing in return for it...

the only virii on Kazaa are exe files.... if your pirating software or dling cracks, of course you will get infected. I think kazaa is a good thing in certain regards, I find all sorts of un-popular bands that would otherwise not be known in this region, and isn't sold here anyway.... just more publicity for some. It does make piracy easier, but hey, what doesn't??? Think of Tapes, cd's, palms.... I mean now a days, people will walk into a store with a palm, and dl software straight from a display machine!!!! Just because it makes pirating easier, doesn't make it compleatly wrong, or useless. Piriting is done in too many ways to blame kazaa and P2P alone.
