    NessusWX 1.4.4 Already!

They just keep crankin' them out. Here you go...hot off the list...

    Hello all!

New version of NessusWX is available. Differences from previous version are:

    - Added "copy to clipboard" function to protocol tracer
    - Added plugin grouping by ID, Family, or Category in plugin selection dialog
    - Added possibility to mark vulnerabilities as false positive by plugin ID (like delete)
    - Added possibility to delete multiple scans at a time in session result list
    - Added preview mode to scan status
    - Now it's possible to globally turn off warning about changing port scanner selection
    - Plugin families and categories now sorted alphabetically
    - Plugin/vulnerability search made case-insensitive
    - Added "owner" field to scan results list
    - Default well-known services list expanded
    - Fixed incorrect host statistic after deleting records

Many thanks to Marc (nospaming-at-free-dot-fr) for ideas (he offers most of the changes).

As usual, new version already available at http://www.securityprojects.org/nessuswx and will be available tomorrow on http://nessuswx.nessus.org (when mirroring operation will take place).

    Regards,
    Victor

Cool. They actually made some of the feature requests that I made!

    Thanks for the NFO!

I'm just full of bad news today....

After installing NessusWX1.4.4, I went to "select plugins" and I noticed that none of the plugin names are listed next to the green checkmarks or red "Xs". I tried each view (Family, Category, etc) and had the same results. I then tried to run a scan and the NessusWX client blew out.

I have reported these issues to Victor already. If anyone else has found any bugs, pass em along to victor@securityprojects.org

Incase anyone is interested, I have attached a screenshot of the issue.

I will take that under advisement Jinx.

Networker: The difference between the two is that NessusWX is a windows client used to connect to a Nessus server to initiate scans, save and view reports... However, client and server can be used on the same machine if you want to run everything from the *nix machine on which the Nessus application is loaded. The normal installation has client and server for the *nix platform.

Hope that helps. Let me know if I am misunderstanding your question.
