P2P software for linux?
I'm really looking for some software like Kazaa Lite for Linux. I tried LimeWire but it really is to slow. Can
anyone recommend any P2P software for linux?

You can run kazaa lite under linux, you just need to install it under wine, which is a windows emulator for linux, which you can get here http://www.winehq.com
you would install it like you would a .tgz, gz, or any other compressed package, im sure you can find installation instructions if you need help on the site.kazaa lite actually doesnt run too bad under linux just keep in mind that alot of progs that kazaa lite offers are for windoze, so youll need to port games that you may download and such.edonkey is good for movies and such, but im not sure if its supported under linux and if it is im not thinkin it would run to good.and I say that due to how many probs I had with it under XP, its just full of spyware and other useless crap.

You can use lmule. This is a linux port of emule, a free win32 p2p which work with the edonkey network.

try lopster, its installed with Suse Linux and seems to be pretty good, also search threw AO, this has been covered before and so theres prolly some better ones listed somehwere else, also try sourceforge, look for p2p on there, they have alot of things for Linux including p2p i think, if nto look up lopster.

you were right about checking sourceforge and it does seem to be a decent program, ill have to check it out later on, also if anyone is looking for Linux tools sourceforge is a great site so check it out

You can run MLDonkey on linux, Mac OS X and Freebsd.
MLDonkey uses the Donkey and Overnet networks. If you compile MLDonkey from the source you can add a couple of other networks.
