    Does anybody know from where I can download the contents of the floppy disk that boots the Linux installation ???

    create a boot disk. it depends on the kernel if the boot disk will work. have a look at:
    mkbootdisk will create you a boot disk...

    You can try, Trinux.

    Trinux is a ramdisk-based Linux distribution that boots from a single floppy or CD-ROM.
    Or you can also try THIS
