    Question Windows messenger update

    hey guys,

    i use windows messenger, and quite often they come out with an update. however, the update that they want us to download, doesnt seem to support opera 7.01 (the browser im using) and when i click on go to my inbox it open IE. i dont want that to happen. however, if i click on any other link (help etc) it will open with Opera.

    my question is, can i change this so it will open with opera, or is there a way i can get it to stop asking me if i want to update.. because its getting really annoying.

    My firewall blocks all IE-actions, but Windows Update is afaik only possible through IE...
