    Sorry Kinda new at this

    I have a Hp laptop I had a system password on it so when it booted you put the password in right. Ok I went to change the password from "mine" to nothing I typed the old password and just hit the enter key when it asked for a new one. Now when I try to boot it wants a password "mine" doesnt work niether does the enter key can you help?

    Another one who doesn't have "their" password and forgot everything needed to retrieve it? haha ahh man...

    My friend says the NT Password and Registry Editor Boot disk will work on ME. I have only used it on NT/2K so... I can't agree with him for sure, but it won't do any damage if you follow the directions.

    BIOS: Basic Input-Output System. More info here: http://www.wimsbios.com/

    If you password protected WinME as a login, simply press ESC and should let you in. Hope this helps.

    where would I get those?

    I protected the computer and ME I know how to bypass ME just not how to bypass a SYSTEM pass
