    Back To default viewer

    ok i recently downloaded and animation program so that i could make my own animation for my site. well i installed it and it chose to be my default viewer for .gif images. Ok well i decided i didnt like this program very much and uninstalled it. Well when i uninstalled it the .gif images have a open with icon, but to open them you have to open IE and click open and select the file from there. I was wondering how do i get IE back to view .gif images as my default viewer? I am running Win 98 SE and IE 6

    You can either right click on the selected item and choose open with, and select it from the given list, or you can open any folder and go to Tools-> Folder Options-> File Types, and change the association to your desired preference.
