    Teoma is a nice search engine, simple and it has a toolbar.

    The easiest way to remember all the search engines available is to remember just one url that is http://www.ultimasurf.com as they have more than 900 search engines all searchable through one convenient form.

    I think it should be noted that how you use a search engine is more important than the engine you use (in most cases) .Each engine has its quirks(so read the advanced instructions) but smart use of , and, or , + ,"index of" , html ............ are the golden key Be CREATIVE in your search strings and you will be amazed at what you can find . (a tool is only as good as the person wielding it)

    Just thougt since I have been using these engines for quite a while I should give my input as well.I have found that altavista overall works the best for me but then again it depends on connection,modem speeds, traffic etc..
