Hmm...theres something a little peculiar here. Oh i see what it is! the sentence is talking about itself! do you see that? what do you mean? sentences can\'t talk! No, but they REFER to things, and this one refers directly-unambigeously-unmistakably-to the very sentence which it is!

Hmmm...an anonymous P2P service called Blubster that keeps your IP away from those prying RIAA eyes...niiiice. The drawback is that it comes prepackaged with GATOR, so I had to run SpyBot Search & Destroy to defang the gator. I just wish I could figure out a way to harvest his skin and do a case mod with it.

Overall it has a decent interface and darn good speed in its favor. The drawback would be that it only searches for mp3, ogg vorbis, etc., which could make it particularly vulnerable to RIAA legal counter-measures in the future.

I also want to share the following tool with you guys , its free give try

Hotkeycontrol XP is a complete hotkey utility that allows you to set hotkeys to do common tasks like opening files, ejecting your cdrom drives, restarting your computer, controlling active windows, controlling Windows media player and Winamp 3, changing volume, typing in commonly used text (macros) and much more. Besides the regular features, the volume status can be shown on the screen (OSD) or in the tray. You can also display any information on screen for easy access. The program is completely customizable in all aspects and has a great interface. Also the additional keys on your existing Multimedia/Internet keyboard can be used with Hotkeycontrol XP and all the hotkeys are functional even in games and in other full-screen DirectX applications.

Sorry, I don't have anything to add but I wanted to thank you all for this info and these links. Most thanks goes to allenb, of course!

You have gone a long way to both helping securing my system and improving my understanding of what things to look for.

    Once again, thanks!

NoteTab Pro - I couldn't live without this text editor. It's extremely fast and has tons of features which you can add easily by yourself, too. Even the freeware version really 0wnz. When version 5.0 ships it has everything I need from a text editor: currently only syntax higlight for other languages than html is missing (as far as I can see, yet I bet they'll still add some other fancy stuff too).
