Rpcss.exe = Virus?
Hi to all there!I would like to know if anyone knows something about rpcss.exe. This programm runs every time windows boots and im a little suspicius about this.Is it a virus or just a system program? Thank you

That's the Microsoft Remote Procedure Call Service. I'm not really familiar with it, but if you want to learn more, google is always ready.

It's a regular windows file but this doesn't mean it cannot be infected!!
Run a decent virusscanner just to make sure!

I agree with SirDice, just ran a check on symantec's website for viruses/backdoors that include rpcss and this is what I found:

You might want to also read up on the list of vulnerabilities associated with rpcss from symantec or another related site.
