    AirTraf - Detecting Rogue AP's

Hey all. There are many tools out there that can detect Rogue Wireless AP's, and this is another one that I have found, that some of you may not have heard of.

There is an article about AirTraf here

And you can download AirTraf (Linux only) here

This sounds pretty interesting Soggy. Nice post! I especially like the idea of strategically-placed wireless sensors reporting to a central console, which can be viewed with a web browser. Kismet has some, but not all of this functionality. I haven't tested it yet, but it's supposed to be able to have several Kismet drones that report to the central server.

I will have to look into this Airtraf. Let us know if you are able to evaluate/test this software and what your opinions are.

    Thanks,

Things are pretty hectic at work, and I havent had the time I would like to test all this stuff out. Im still playing around with kismet (which is pretty tidy!).

This one looked pretty useful, and with any luck, I may have some time to play around with it. When (or if) I do, I will be sure to post my findings...
