This topic is covered alot here at antionline, just use the search feature. In my opinion Panda Antivirus is best. Actualy there are alot of antivirus reviews done by pc mag and others.

I think another good place to look would be www.virusbtn.org they are a neutral organization geared towards antivirus solutions and testing antivirus programs. Another link is http://secinf.net/anti_virus there's a number of articles on antivirus programs, and a very informative test between Norton, McAffee, Trend Micro and Hauri.
Sorry, meant to write www.virusbtn.com. Also http://www.wildlist.org is interesting.

for network use i would recommend InterScan VirusWall 3.6 since it stops the virus at the first front " The Firewall"
for home use i recommend Solo Antivirus since it scans for all viruses and has a System Integrity Checker to protect you computer from New Internet worms ...Trojans...malicious VB and Java Script....
It also effectively removes all existing Internet Worms, File infecting viruses, malicious VB and Java scripts, Trojans, Backdoors, boot sector, partition table, file and macro viruses.
you can get it here at www.soloantivirus.com
it is a trial version but its worth the purchase....
a free version i use and didn't give me any problems is AntiVir from http://www.free-av.com/ ...
