    just a thought about AO security

    It's interesting that for a site so dedicated to security, logins aren't encrypted.
    Preliminary operational tests were inconclusive (the dang thing blew up)

    Kezil - I did some searching on this in the Site Suggestions Forum and found one related thread on this same issue. There didn't seem to be alot of suggestions as to how to go about encrypting logins and if such an exploit was even detrimental to the site itself. Short of character defacement, could something like this actually pose a serious threat? I'm curious myself. Anyways, here's the thread. It raises a good question I think of practicality versus feasibility.
