Threads on the main page
I dont know about everyone else but im tired of seeing posts on the main page with 20 plus replies to it. I dont have a problem with those threads its just that its tiring to see them there for so long. If it takes more than a couple days to answer then i doubt it gets answered anytime soon.
<chsh> I've read more interesting technical discussion on the wall of a public bathroom than I have at AO at times

I disagree. A forum is a place for discussions. Why would you want to cut down on the core point for a forum. If its tool long for you, then dont read it or jump directly to the last post. Discussions can get long, thats what its all about.
Cheers.

yeah but in some threads ....some new member at AO just replies with like i agree or asks another quetion ....or just adds on something that has already been said ..... i dont mind if a conversation continues ... but they(newbies) really need to read the whole thread and then add something or not write anything at all .....

You, I'm kinda of tired of people making redundant suggestions. I am kind of tired of people who half ass read a thread, then post things that we're already discussed in the original post. On top of that they don't even add any content at all. I am kinda tired of people like you who keeping using that title like newbie for an example, as a form of disrespect. I truely believe you have no idea.

BTW i dont mean newbie as a disrespect : a newbie is human being who is willing to learn about computers , security , exploits , and everything else ..... i would rather be called a NEWBIE than a HACKER ....

I'd rather be known as dopeydadwarf, than have any title at all associated with my reputation. Unfortunatley people who keep sterotypes alive need labels as a support system. Otherwise they haven't a good leg to stand on.
Amusing how the guilty always point fingers.
