    Saving SMS ??

    Hi there,

I own a Nokia 8250 GSM phone. My sim card gives me the capability to store 15 sms messages. However, that number is insufficient for me, considering the amount of messages me and my friends exchange. In the end, there are a lot of messages I have to delete to save space, which otherwise I would have loved to keep and store.

Can anyone help me out with this? Is there any way I can transfer my sms messages from my mobile phone to some site or my own computer. I have heard about the computer data cable but I have no idea how it works and also whether it can help me transfer my sms messages from the phone to the computer.

Or is there any site, where I can sms those messages and then can save them there??

    Please help me with this.

15 Messages???I think you might want to have that checked out.. I have the nokia 5125... and it stores at least 20 messages on the phone (max I've ever had......) and I bleieve it's capable of many more.. My roommate has an ericson and it stores 100 messages directly on the phone.. 15 seems a lil low.. I used to get that at one time when peopel were spamming my phone.

Now to transfer information between your PC and your phone you must either have a infrared device on your PC or a data cable (I am not sure the phone supports bluetooth).

I am not sure if the it is possible to transfer SMS's to your PC but the links provided will give you all information about the telephone.
Hope that can be of any help.
