Also, I see you asking a lot of basic questions dealing with JavaScript and html. Do you really expect to charge money for designing a site right now when you're just learning the basics? Besides coding, are you familiar with branding and marketing techniques? There's a lot more to working with businesses than just designing a page, unless they truly are ignorant.
I totally agree. Today's webdesigner should be more then a designer. He should also know at least 1 server-side language, and have general experience with databases. If you just know html/CSS and javascript, don't expect to make a living out of web developing. No one wants static sites these days.
