Well it says I'm located in Pennsylvania, but I'm really in California.
I was just wondering if anyone knew how it worked???

What says your located in Pennsylvania??
DO you mean a website like www.ipchicken.com or do you mean AO?
If it is something like a site that tells you your IP and where you are then its probably because your using a public proxy.

I think it's where your ISP is located. Like me i run Compuserve (owned by AOL)
AC98264C.ipt.aol.com I guess one of AOL servers is located Vienna, Virginia, United States. Just my opinion I can be wrong. Or this can be a bug.

I'm not really sure because I have no idea how it works, but I mean the AO tools and toys thing. I think this is my servers name ca-temecula-cuda2-c2b-208.snbrca.adelphia.net so I think that would be located over here I do know I'm on a lan and that my computer says i have a different ip than the AO tool.

I'm guessing this is just your routers ip.
The ip my router presents suggests i'm in the midwest, but in reality i'm in Dixie.
