    security downloads

its always someone who likes to mess it up for others by putting viruses on programs. that is not in no way cool just because you can be carefull I recently dowloaded avg.exe bad mistake it had bad code made my puter restart over and over Yes i fixed the problem but what I really want to say to those who think its fun your a bunck of fools especially for us that want to help.. not destory or cause havoc what a waste of energy.... watch what you download you might be next and do not trust anyone you do not know . A lesson well learned lol

Yes, beware, the AO archives are full of misplaced/misnamed viri/trojans. I would definately excersise caution while rooting around in there.

    Take care.

Lol its funny you say that, maybe my friend should read this and not feel left out.

Well, my n00b friend (lol he hates when I call him that) downloads from P2P a lot. HE FINALLY does a scan and lol 9 virus (First scan in 2 years). He didn't even know what a virus scan was (scary to me) but I just wanted to share that with you.

I downloaded the mentioned avg.exe, virus-scanned it, trojan-scanned it, installed it, virus-scanned it, trojan-scanned it... Nothing wrong. My computer still acts the way it's supposed to act...

Could you give some more details? OS? What 'bad code'? What exactly did your computer do? Do you have any other av-software running that might interfere with it?...?
