Nondestructive Partition Resizing?
I'm curious if it is possible to resize my main partition(ntfs/winxp) in order to make room for a new partition where I'll be installing Mandrake without the help of Partition Magic 8.0 (because I don't have it).
Any help would be appreciated.
I've got about 12 gigs free by the way. The computer management device doesn't offer any solutions. I tried Partition Magic 6.0 as well without avail.

I found one called Ranish.
Here's the link: http://www.ranish.com/part/
Also, here is a quote i found on Ranish over at TSS:
If you insist on shareware or freeware, Leo found a program called Ranish Partition Manager Version 2.37. We haven't tried it and thus can't endorse it, but it appears to be a Partition Magic clone, and it is highly recommended in the Linux newsgroups.
Hope that does the trick for you.
Take care.
