    Hacker who defaced websites in Australia arrested

    A 17-year-old French hacker who defaced websites in Australia, Britain, and the United States with political messages has been arrested in Paris and ordered to stay away from the internet while on parole, police said yesterday.

    Geez....banned from the internet. It sounds like he was just screwing around with sites because he wasn't good enough to get away with it. I wonder if computer crime in France is as potent as in the US? Just a thought. Thanks for the info on that too MemorY.
