    I caught a Virus! ......Can I play with it?

    Last night my Norton quarantined a virus named Annoy.exe. My question is, can I somehow view the programming in it? It's the first virus my computer has received so I would like to study it to see what it would have done.
    Any ideas?

    P.S. I found what it does on Google, but I want to see how it's written.

    Get a hex editor and/or decompiler and start having fun... although I am almost certain the source code could be found online, try doing it your way... post what you 'learn'!?!

    Or you can use Softice One thing though it is expensive but I would use a hex editor

    ive got a good program for that kinda thing if you want, its pretty popular, reshacker
    anyway btw where would you find the source code for something like that on the net???
