Browser Security Test
Hi guys/girls,
I just found this site http://bcheck.scanit.be/bcheck/ ,it's good thing to check your browser (my opinion though ) and don't close those windows when you are being scanned cause I think those are tests.
Cheers

Yea... sweet_angel, you were right... I run Mozilla so it kills everything that comes up.. and I got this:
Oops! Cannot open new windows. Your browser is configured to disallow pop-up windows or you are running a pop-up ad killing software. Please set your software to allow pop-ups and restart the test. Read the FAQ for explanation about popup killers.
Since I'm at a LAN.. I'm too lazy to change the settings (which is actually a single click) so I'll edit my findings later...

Disabling popups does not necessarily stop the vulnerabilities, it just stops the test working.
I found one medium risk in mine, got to get that fixed.

No vulnerability detected at all. I can be proud of my little Mozilla, even if I know the risk inherent to this sort of test: It's not because it found nothing that no vulnerability exist, it's only it had not detected any one.
I wonder how many vulnerabilities can be found on IE without the bunch of security patches for it.

Back at home and ran the test:
I clicked on the link and looked over the page to see if it got my browser (with IE) right:
Browser name: MSIE
Version: 6.0
Platform: Windows NT 5.1
WRONG! Windows XP not NT... anyone else get this?
Finished that dreaded pop-up attack and am proudly copying this:
Dear Customer,
The Browser Security Test is finished. Please find the results below:
High Risk Vulnerabilities 0
Medium Risk Vulnerabilities 0
Low Risk Vulnerabilities 0

hmmm.. popups were definitely very disheartening believe me it flooded the whole desktop..... but the nice part is i found some vulnerabilities....but hey that probably was due to the Low security settings of IE... i think if we set the security to high such vulnerabilities will vanish? will it?
